Cast-alloy with heavy-duty Ecoat finish for corrosion resistance and durability. Compound action stripping, grip and strip via single-action squeezing motion. Quick and easy 8-22 AWG wire stripping. Precision machined stripping holes easily remove jacket insulation without damaging wire. Remove up to 1" (24mm) in length of the insulation layer (jacket layer) in a single step. Tension loaded wire-grip gently holds cable while retaining cable geometry.
Cuts and strips wire, crimps terminals, and shears bolts, also lugs and splices. Combination crimping dies may be used on insulated and noninsulated solderless terminals. 1 wire cutter at tip and 1 wire cutter located in near the stripping holes. Bolt shears cut 4-40, 6-32, 8-32, 10-24, and 10-32 bolts. Strips No. 8 to 18 AWG solid wire or 10 to 22 AWG stranded wire. Pivot nut to adjust tension. Left and right-hand wire-looping holes near tip. Black oxide finish with etched markings. Plastic cushion-grip handles for comfort.
